On December 5, downtown Kennewick will transform into one big bookshop for the day. Local authors and bookish vendors are setting up inside the shops you already love. Wander in out of the cold and let us be the reason you finish your holiday shopping before the week of Christmas.

The whole downtown is the venue. Local authors and bookish makers set up inside participating small businesses, so you can duck in out of the weather for a warm drink and come back out having had a real conversation with the person who wrote the book in your hand. Stay twenty minutes or make a whole afternoon of it, whichever the December weather allows.

We're pairing local authors and bookish vendors with host businesses all over downtown, and a spot costs you nothing. There are only so many shops with only so much floor space, so the sooner your application lands, the better your odds of landing the window seat.

Do I need a ticket?
There is nothing to buy ahead of time and nothing to print, so turn up whenever suits you between 11am and 6pm and start browsing.
Can I bring my kids?
Please do, because this is an all ages event and kids have a habit of finding the good stuff first.
